I do not know where I am, exactly. The planet is named Mirage, though I have not received any confirmation on just *who* named it that, or if it chose the name itself. I have not yet observed enough of the night sky to determine a solar systemic pattern, much less where that system might be in relation my own Earth.
I will require a telescope, some star charts and at least an abacus, though a nice 60 gig laptop would be preferable. The long division is going to be a pain in the ass.
I saw what appeared to be a version of Sandrock, though I have yet to get close enough to ascertain if it is the original or a mere copy. I have hope though, that this means another pilot is here as well. I should probably not be surprised if Winner is here, out of all of us it would be a toss up between him and Maxwell as to who has the worse luck.
I'm reminded, for no particular reason, of a conversation Yui and I had aboard Peacmilion before that fortuitous 'last stand'. I asked him where he found his faith in 'Peace'. He seemed to think about the wording for a while before he answered. 'Darwin.' He replied finally. That was almost eight years ago now. I've never asked him what he meant. Maybe, when we meet again, I'll ask him to clarify. It's something to look forward to.
